Hello there!

My name is Brittney. I’m an Instructional Designer with over four years of professional experience in corporate instructional design. In addition, I have eight years of experience in education, adult learning theory, and curriculum design. I’m passionate about making the learning experience fun and engaging.
​
I began my career teaching abroad in Japan and lived there for two years. I returned to the United States to pursue a master’s degree in education. My former experience as an English as a second language professor helps me break down complex concepts into simple and productive learning experiences geared towards a global audience. I enjoy learning new technology and collaborating with SMEs to refine training for customers and employees. My love of writing stories inspires me when I create concepts for learning designs.

I live in the San Francisco Bay area with my husband my son, and quite a few pets. When I’m not designing learning experiences, I write fantasy fiction and ride horses.
